In case of damaged goods…
It goes without saying that we’ll handle your shipment with care. Nevertheless, damage can occur during the transport – which is why we’d also recommend taking out an insurance.
Please note that only the person who made the booking can notify the insurance. We are not allowed to process the claim if you are not the contracting authority.
Please report the damage within 5 working days.
What to do if your shipment arrives damaged:
CHECK & NOTE DOWN
Check the packed goods on delivery, note down any damage on the delivery receipt and have the driver countersign it.
Take pictures of the damaged goods, and – if applicable – of the damaged packaging (prior to the unwrapping).
REPORT TO INSURANCE
Send a mail to Sina.Schlosser@Speditions-Assekuranz.de which includes the following:
– Your order number
– Pictures of the damage
– A pro-forma invoice or receipt indicating the value of the goods
– For repairs, at least 2 quotes
Our insurance can only start processing the claim once all the above-mentioned information has been handed in.
